Privacy Policy

Becklist ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Becklist mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Becklist stores your task data (moments, subtasks, notes, schedules, and settings) locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

AI Plan Mode

When you use the AI Plan Mode feature, the goal description you enter is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate actionable steps. Google processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not store the content of your AI requests on our servers.

Subscription Information

If you purchase a Becklist Pro subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt data from Apple. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID.

Notifications

If you enable push notifications, notification tokens are stored locally on your device to schedule local reminders. We do not use remote push notification services or collect notification tokens on our servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information
• We do not require account creation or login
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API - Processes AI Plan Mode requests. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat - Manages subscription status. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store - Handles all payment processing. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your task data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We do not have access to your locally stored data. If you delete the App, your local data will be permanently removed.

5. Children's Privacy

Becklist is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over its retention. You can delete all data at any time through the App's Settings screen. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, traditional data access and deletion requests do not apply. You maintain full control of your data on your device at all times. You can:

• View all your data within the App
• Delete all data through the Settings screen
• Uninstall the App to remove all data permanently
• Manage or cancel your subscription through Apple's subscription management

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
